Vivian Trujillo is a lifelong resident of
Taos, New Mexico. Vivian is a legal assistant currently working with the Criminal Division of the
Alan Maestas Law Office, P.C. Her career began by working part-time for the Juvenile
Probation Office – First Offender Program for the late Mary P. Martinez, a well known
advocate for children statewide. At the time the Juvenile Probation Office was part of the court
system within the districts. By working in conjunction with the District Court system, Vivian was given
the opportunity to work with the various judges and clerks statewide. After a few short years with JPO
she was hired by former District Court Judge Joseph E. Caldwell as his trial court administrative assistant.
From then she worked for the Eighth Judicial District Court until retirement in March of 2007. During her tenure at
District Court she worked for three different Judges, i.e., Joseph E. Caldwell, Peggy
J. Nelson and Sam B. Sanchez. After retiring in 2007, Vivian was not ready to stay home. She
decided to get back into the workforce and has worked for Anthony Lopez, Stephen Natelson and Kirby Read.
Vivian has been an full time employee of the Firm since June 2009.
